Consulting firm Egremont Group recently launched the results of its survey into the head office of the future at a breakfast briefing held in association with HR Magazine.
The findings of the survey are summarised in a fascinating article, written by Egremont's Marketing Director Natalie Gordon. The article paints a picture of an organisation where internal and external networks provide a platform for innovation, where leadership is a fluid and organised around tasks and the skills of individuals, and where a workforce is judged on results rather than facetime. It's a compelling vision, and one, so the argument goes, that organisations would do well to start thinking about sooner rather than later.
